BE-4084 N. ovata – assorted clones
Endemic to the Barisan Range in Sumatra, lower pitchers are robust with wide, flared peristomes. The upper pitchers are infundibular and have attractive striped peristomes.
This is believed to be the first horticulturally produced Nepenthes ovata, and is the result of crossing two parent plants, that were themselves raised from seeds in our nurseries.
History: First introduced on the wholesale auctions in March 2023 and last auctioned in Sept 2023, it was introduced to the shop for the first time in April 2025.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.
Source: A random selection from a large number of different clones.
Photo notes: Photos are of representative clones and may not be identical to plants shipped. The last photos in the series show plants of typical sale sizes in order of size S, M & L (when available).
