BE-3933 N. robcantleyi x veitchii
As the photos and videos show, there’s a lot of variation between individuals appearing out this cross. They are all spectacular and large, with peristomes that generally remain flared and only roll back only a little as the pitchers age. The pitcher bodies have a wonderful soft furry texture, much like N. veitchii.
This item differs from BE-3700 in that the male parent of BE-3700 is a lowland variety of N. veitchii, but the male parent of this item is a Bario highland form. It can therefore be expected to be more tolerant of warmer temperatures than BE-3700.

History: First introduced in Aug 2008.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is the superb cultivar of N. robcantleyi, called Nepenthes ‘Queen of Hearts’, which has been exhibited world-wide many times and the male parent is a handsome striped form of N. veitchii, selected from amongst the Bario form of the species sold under BE-3205.
