BE-3844 N. (veitchii x lowii) x samudera
Used to market this interesting cross as N. (veitchii x lowii) x sp. #1. However, N. sp. #1 has now been named as N. samudera, hence the name change for this item.
History: First introduced in Nov 2019.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.
The female parent is a seed-raised clone of N. lowii x veitchii with collection ID 0726 selected from those sold in the past under BE-3210.
The male parent is N. samudera, which is the large recently named species from Sumatra, which we used to call “Nepenthes sp. 1”
