BE-3840 N. ampullaria x campanulata – best selected clone
The most interesting hybrids are often those whose characteristics complement each other and that’s certainly the case with this cross which had carefully chosen parent species. Borneo Exotics is hopeful that this hybrid might have inherited the wonderful characteristic of N. ampullaria and produce clusters of basal pitchers.
First introduced in Sept 2022.
Horticulturally bred by Borneo Exotics.
The female parent is a selected clone of Nepenthes ampullaria ‘Brunei Red’ formerly sold as CR-23 and with Collection ID # 1235.
The male parent is a typical form of Nepenthes campanulata with Collection ID # 2193 selected from amongst those sold under BE-3044.
Horticulturally bred by Borneo Exotics.
