BE-3819 Nepenthes 'Suki' - selected cultivar
The scientific name of the cross that gave rise to this great cultivar is Nepenthes rafflesiana x sibuyanensis. It was created in December 2008 and for decades licensed exclusively to only a few large nurseries for production as a mass-market item in Europe and to a lesser extent in the U.S. By popular request we have now added it to our range for world-wide distribution.
It was publicly named at one of our Gold Medal winning RHS Chelsea Flower shows in honour of Suki Harris. The Harris family are famous UK charitable benefactors, especially in the field of child welfare.
As a lowland-highland cross it’s a very easy grower, being tolerant of a wide range of temperatures.
