BE-3744 N. singalana x ampullaria – best selected clone
This highly vigorous and attractive cross was carefully selected in trials lasting several years from amongst many candidate clones. The pitchers have an unusual combination of orange, yellow and lime green when newly opened and darken as they mature to red on the upper portions, graduating to green lower down. However, they retain strikingly contrasting green wings and underside to the lid. This is clearly visible on the photos and video, which show both newly opened and mature pitchers.
As it’s a highland-lowland cross, it is classed as intermediate and will grow well in a wide range of temperatures.
History: First introduced in Jan 2017.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.
