BE-3390 N. ampullaria ‘Lime Twist’
This classic swamp-dwelling species will develop basal rosettes when larger, giving the appearance of a carpet of pitchers with few or no leaves. It grows easily in acidic media, but needs high temperatures, moist roots and high humidity.
This is a carefully selected clone with the pitcher body colouration of N. ampullaria ‘Harlequin’, and a peristome that is mostly a pure striking lime-green, but showing occasional maroon stripes in high light levels, as can be seen from the photos. We’ve given it the cultivar name Nepenthes ampullaria ‘Lime Twist’.
